Challengers on the street?

RE: Challengers on the street?
My list is short. Let's just say I was raised to be practical.
1996 Olds Ciera (4/00-7/02) It was a hand me down and I still loathe it to this very day for all the trouble it gave me in 2 years and a few months
1997 Dodge Intrepid (7/02-present) I'm going to retire it hopefully before the year is over but I'm having trouble making up my mind on what with, I don't want a Challenger just yet plus I want something that I can drive when the weather is bad.

RE: Challengers on the street?
Well I have almost every car I ever owned. 1970 GTX 1971 Challenger 1988 Conquest TSI 1991 Stealth R/T . That is what I have now... I owned a 69 Charger R/T and a 1990 Astro Conversion Van. 1991 Chevy Conversion Van. My first car was a 1972 Hemi orange Duster 4-speed. And that is it. The Astro went to my ex-wife and my folks gave me the Convesion Van to fix up and sell so I could add that to the purchuse of my youngest sons first car. The Duster was totaled out when a young lady ran a stop sign and used it for a tactical stopping point. Man I miss that car

RE: Challengers on the street?
Back to the original post, black and red Challengers. Anyone else think this would be in conjunction with another post that had a picture of a semi hauling a black and red Challenger?
My list can be found on the topic back in Aug of 07, "Drove an '07 Shelby GT", but I'll post it again since there's some new additions.
79 Toyota Corolla
brown with the nice touches of rust and a dead cylinder/lifter, but had a hydraulic clutch.
80 something Audi
white with rust whole in the quarter panel, a manually operated cooling fan, a window that had plastic taped in it because it was missing and ended up with mold in the back in the end, and an engine mount that was barely on and thankfully I ran into a curb and nocked it lose from the transmission before the whole engine fell.
93 Plymouth Sundace blue
Ran off the road in a roudabout, slid into a curb, blew out the tire, but nothing wrong with the alignment. No problems even with the paint.
00 Dodge Dakota sport
blue, transmission problems, the manual would pop out of first all the time, and the wipers had a mind of their own on intermittent. Heater/A/C had a whistle, but dealer could never find a problem with any of these.
00 Dodge Dakota slt
green nice, but the dealer let me keep it for two weeks and then said that they couldn't finance me in it. Whatever.
00 Dodge Ram sport
(let's just say financing trouble with the Dakota before the Ram.) -no problems, but the dealers said the 4x4 shifter was harder then normal to get into gear, though I didn't see any big problems with it.
00 Plymouth Breeze
gold, nice no problems. Really nice considering it was a rental car in it's past life.
01 Dodge Dakota slt
brown nice no problems
03 Dodge Ram red slt sport
piece of junk, lemon that had so many problems it wasn't funny. Centerforce clutch installed for testing, got the clutch for free, had to pay to install it. I'm sure it was the cause of transmission problems down the road. A/C fan clutch went out, electric door locks only worked on the driver's side (faulty master switch), power steering pump went out, CD player made a clicking sound (replaced under warranty). I'm sure there are other things, but I can't think of them. This was a brand new truck with less then 30,000 on it.
05 Dodge Neon
wife's, techinically mine since I financed it for her. No problems, would still probably have it, but she was having surgery so we had to go auto.
06 Ford Mustang GT deep red
The seat back latches are the cheapest things in the world. Replaced several of these. Rattles and stereo wasn't up to par for me.
07 Ford Mustang GT deep red
Upgrade one year, cost the same, why not? Actually it's because I abused my other car in my drinking times, reved the engine while sitting in neutral/park constantly at high RPMs, but that's another story. Still has the rattles, but the stereo was upgraded and impressive, though the factory speakers never are as they blow easy. Wonder how the convertible people feel since they have to really turn up the radio to hear it.
08 Dodge Avenger SE silver
wife's, again technically mine since I financed it. Not the power we were looking for, but nice with the options that we had on it. Remote start, heated cloth seats.
08 Dodge Avenger R/T silver steel metallic, or gray as I see it.
wife's, I'm primary on paper's, she's the co-signer. Installed remote start. Nice power, transmission siezed after 30 something miles, but that was due to someone, or something if it was a robot, messing up while putting it together.
