Question considering resonator removal

I have a 2010 SE which is my daily driver. I use it to give the illusion of my speeding down the highway when I really spend 4 hours a day stuck in highway bumper-to-bumper traffic averaging 15 mph. I am thinking of removing the exhaust resinator and having it replaced with tailpipe tubing for increased sound. I am not considering a new muffler or trying to get increased performance. I would appreciate the thoughts of the group on this move before I do it. Thanx

Since the resonator is behind the muffler I don't know how much sound you'll gain. I went for a dual exhaust with X pipe, twin Magna Flows and no resonators on my SXT and love the improved sound.
