yeah that's what my point really is. I mean were all seeing what's going on with these SRT's, and well let's face it...it seems like this is about to happen with the R/T's. I really want to try and purchase one of these cars and right now im just planning on somewhere near the mid 09' model year. But i'd really like to get an idea financially on what I should be planning for i.e. the down payment.

 

Bob Frederick has posted to RLD that pricing will be available "in the next few weeks"... bizarre...

 

I'm sticking to my plan of July 09, by then all the kinks will be worked out of production, the buzz will be diminished and I can play the part of Janus looking back at the '09s and forward to the '10s and make my decision from there.

Will I be a little envious of everyone riding around in THEIR shiny new Challengers? No. I will be VERY envious.

But separation makes the heart grow fonder and I'll enjoy my car that much more.

I just hope I'm the first in my company's parking lot. (highly doubtful)

 

That is also probably when I will order mine as well DSkippy. I hope the 6.4L is available by then. If not then the 2010 will be around the corner. I could wish.

 

I'm waiting to see if they offer a 6.4L engine as well and so then the buzz does die down (which it will eventually). The buzz never really gets worse as the model grows older unless due to an upgrade. Plus, the longer I wait, the better model I can afford.
