Right when it chimes / dings, you get a message "ESP disabled" under the speedo. Now I can disengage without having to hear it.

For launch with traction just leave ESP on, or hit the button once quick to partly disable

Hey Andre,

Maybe you can answer this for me? Yesterday...with the ESP fully disabled I was doing my burn out....only one tire initially started...then the other kicked in and both were spinning....why would the car do this?

With the esp off you have an open rear end. I still get both tires lit, but often it begins with one and then the other.
Its still an open rear with the ESP on, but the computer adjusts for traction.

Its currently about 1400.00 in parts to fix this, but I dont feel its a problem until we start changing rear end ratios, or the race track is your main hobby.

Glad you posted it to Chris. Until Rhonda posted about holding the button and seeing the results I was getting PM's telling me I was nuts :-)
I can see thier point about you being nuts... has nothing to do with ESP though...

I started reading this and was getting worried. My 06 Daytona tuns off with the chime.

I am anxiously awaiting my R/T with the trak Pak and Sure Grip. Hit D1 last week with a 9/12 est ship date. (not holding my breath)
