Fully Functional Hood Inlets?
I'm not really sure how much HP it adds but a scoop on the hood has to go up about 8" in get enough ram air effect. But with cooler air available from the shaker, it would be worth a few ponies. The looks would be the main factor, HP wise a nice cold air K&N filter would be worth more on the high pressure front of the grille. I'm sure the shaker will be made... if not by Dodge then most likely after market. As far as rallye hood inlets, you would not be able to calculate any noticable increase in power, if they were funtional. Mostly used on the old rallye hoods to vent heat and let water in when it rained

This company is making some aftermarket ram air hoods for Chargers/Magnums/300s as well as many others.

Yeah, someone was making the point the hood will have to be designed w/ higher scoops to actually grab the air as it will flow a little higher off the nose.
The front seems to a be a good place for it; per lear.
How about a different tack on this, lose the scoops. Visually they look very cool. But you might be able to get a pretty good out of a smoother hood.
OR would this be heresy and I should be banned from the dodgechallenger village as I'm escorted out with torches and pitchforks.
