No bailout money, no merger.
I don't know why GM would axe a car if it is profitable. They sold Firebirds as well as Camaros for a long time, as each appeals to a slightly different demographic.
I would take an LS3/7/9 Challenger. You get all the HP and no guzzler tax, but not having a "Hemi" would be strange I admit. The LSX engines are pretty good.
