If they put a supercharger on it, would it be more likely or more possible or easier or whatever to put a shaker hood on it?
(And if they did that, they might as well go all the way and make a Cuda!)

They already have centrifugal superchargers for the 5.7 and the 6.1. They fit neatly under the hood, although Im curious how much heat builds up from them and how that,ll affect the paint over time.
The only difference I see in this setup is that its produced and warranteed by MOPAR.
I'm also curious how the rear ends hold up to the added HP and torque of the supercharger, or if the "package" will include upgrades for the rear half-shafts.
This is the SpeedFactory system 1971Chall referred to (from their site):

A roots style SC will require more hood clearance - either a hole / opening for the intake. I wouldn't consider it with a centrifugal SC available.

I am really looking forward to seeing what Mopar will have on display at SEMA because I would like to keep the factory warranty intact and also have a car that will last a long time. I don't to have to worry about a damaged engine, transmission, or any other drivetrain issues. I like the approach of stages 1,2,3 depending on what level of power you want and they add the parts necessary to deal with the extra power.
