I just watched the commercial and I was a bit confused. I'm a big old school Mopar guy and I didn't really understand the symbolism. I would have thought both cars would have taken off at the green instead of the purple Challenger just sitting there. Weird!

I think the torch is being passed on to the new Challenger. I wish it would of ended with both cars in a cloud of white tire smoke and the viewers losing sight of the cars as they accelerate into the night. The sound of two HEMIs filling the night air. Now thats just too cool.

My wife and I have an idea what they did with the old Challenger. They inched it off the truck, turned on the lights and let it sit there, and then after the commercial was over, they inched right back up on the flatbed. To nice to do anything to that's for sure. I don't think they want to be tearing apart a collectors item.

And yes, I would agree, three subjects on this commercial in three different areas is pretty bad, though it did fit in with the ad catergory and the softer side of Dodge. That's where I posted first notice of the commecial, my first notice that is.
