You mean that you wouldn't want to see a 2.7L Challenger? [8D]

Relax, probably only the 3.5L will be offered until the new Phoenix engines are available.
Honestly it would bother me much. Though I would perfer if they called the phoenix engine a 440. If they can put the hemi name on a v8 why not put the 440 on this one?

I mean the fact that the hemi engine is not really "hemispherical". If the V6 makes power like a V8, put a badge on it most people would not know the difference. The average hemi owner probably has no idea about the history that name has. They saw the Hemi commericals and wanted one. That too, and it sounds better than a slant 6. The name has a history. They should market to it. They could call it a tornado for all I care, as long as its powerful.

4.40 Liter! Really BIG 6 or a really small 8. 270 cid or so right?

Jeep has a 4.0 liter 6 right?

I know they have a 3.0 turbo diesel, 3.7 V6, 4.7 V8. but I think that this phoenix engine seems that it will be pleasing to those who want solid perfromance and great fuel economy. The 3.5L is great in the magnum my father has. He loves it. so I'm sure the 4.0 will be fanastic

The 4.40 liter and call it a 440 is a pretty cool idea.

If we want a real reminder of the MOPAR past, how about 4.13 liter and call it a 413 max wedge - maybe even go assymetric on the hood scoops to line up with what would represent the cross ram intake of a max wedge.

Make it gold plated!
I'd suck to scratch a gold plated car

I wouldn't expect more than a few little tweaks(probably more bug fixes than additions) and maybe a couple new colors.
Not to mention the addition of 40th Anniversary badging. (OK, Dodge, I want CREDIT for that idea! )
