Rumors- Who to Believe?
I am guessing but I doubt the manual version and powertrain pricing options may not be available until next year.
The first 5K, will be automatics and be very expensive and so I doubt many of us will buy those. Those are the ones
we for sure will get pricing on first.
I know the one I may buy will not be available until July timeframe.

Jeremiah29:11, Good point, but probably also the busiest internet surfing day of the year too, right? Maybe they're trying to capitalize on the proliferation of eyes on the net.

A post on allpar.com stated that all Challengers will have the option for a sunroof. Also a convertible model will possibly appear in 2010.

Yeah there's an article in mopar muscle (9/06) called junkyard crawl where they complain about an e body found ruined with an aftermarket....sun roof.....T-Roofs are bad because they'd make the Chally look Firebirdish? Can't beat'em for 70's appeal. They leaked or some other such thing?

The problem with T-Roofs is they weakened the whole structure and that wasn't very publicized.
I don't mind retro but manual locks and crank window is a bit of a stretch for me. Of course,
I wouldn't mind an emergency window opener in case I am underwater.

It is rumored that the horsepower of the 5.7 Hemi will increase to 380 in 2009, with its variable cam timing. If that is true, I wonder what the hp of the 6.1 will be? It has to jump up significantly from its present 425 hp in order to justify the extra cost and gas guzzler tax. [sm=smiley25.gif]
Man, I would LOVE T-Tops! But I know they're gone for good. I had'em in my '87 Daytona Shelby Z and never had a leak.
I could take the driver's side top off during a traffic light. It was great!
Even when I didn't take'em off, I liked being able to watch the traffic light turn green in the city without hunkering down to peek under the visor.
I'll settle for a sunroof, but it won't be the same.
