It was reported on allpar.com that HID headlamps will be an available option on the 2009 R/T and SRT versions of the Challenger (and possibly on the 2008 models).

the pricing for the 2008 dodge challenger SRT8 is out at autoblog.com $37 ,995 availible in black silver and hemi orange you can try to order one starting this coming monday dec 3

It is rumored that there will be 4 engine choices in 2009:
3.5 V6
5.7 Hemi w/MDS
5.7 Hemi w/MDS & VVT (variable valve timing)
6.1 Hemi (SRT)
Mine will be the 6.1 Hemi

Is it that you want the most powerful car out there, or would you consider the 5.7L if it had around the same amount of hp as the 6.1L? I would assume by that time that the 6.1L will be bumped up in ratings.
