Tempting Offer
As you guys know, this week has been a roller coaster ride for me. First on Monday, I found out that my May 16 SRT order was cancelled because my dealer went out of business. Then, today, I was able to put my name on a hemi-orange SRT that Bob Frederick had already ordered for his dealership.
Tonight, a local Dodge dealer called me to say that a hemi-orange SRT (auto) has just arrived on his lot. He would sell it for MSRP and I could drive it home tonight. It was tempting, but Bob went out of his way to help me by changing his order to accomodate my needs. Also, the local dealer's car had over $2,500 in options that I didn't want. This dealer has 4 SRTs on his lot (3are silver autos) and two R/Ts (Tor-red and DWB).
Overall, a very interesting day.

RE: Tempting Offer
If you want a Auto Trans then jump on it,,,or let them reduce the price since you don't want alll that extra stuff on the car...
Dealers are closing everywhere and there will be no bailouts..
Best not to leave a deposit on any car, once the dealers gone you are screwed.
I would wait for a manual trans..............
