Talked to my dealer today he is saying every challenger will be built by the 27th of June and shipped the 1st week july..... we will see ... they do have a sweet hemi orange charger R/T sitting in their showroom...

 

Yes they are building Silver Challengers and Hal's Silver Challenger is now in trim. It should be built by tonight then we all need to pray that it does not turn into the Grey Ghost.

Yeah, I saw one of those Hemi Orange R/T Daytonas and bought it. It's exactly the same color as the Hemi Orange Challenger. When you see the color for the first time, it's breathtaking!

 

Looks like about 8% of the 08's are going to be silver, thats about 512 challengers. In years to come will this make them more rare? The folks that want to stop there 08 to get an 09 need to think, the 08 going to be a better investment since it's limited production. In 5 t0 10 years the 08 are going to be worth more than 09's. Just something to think about.

 

New member but been reading this for months. I can't find any info on my '08 VIN 8H289454.
It would be greatly appreciated if anyone with access could check it's status. I thought I had a fairly low order number but I don't think that matters. Thanks

 

I dont think they will have all the cars done by june at the rate they are going . Ive been in D status forever and its seams like D 1 isnt any better . I would bet money the 09s are out within days of the 08s . Next week I will be in TN were I bought my 08 and I will be talking to my dealer and if I cant get the car for MSRP I will be waiting for a 09 at this point .
