OK here is the update they are now building 1 Challenger to 4 Chargers/300's that is 232 a day. The total build per day for all cars is now is down to 930 total. One of the things that is slowing things down they are building a couple of 2009 6 speed pilot cars in the mix. They built a red one today. There is still a mandatory 5 day quality hold on Challenger's so each dept can check out the car. If it needs a fix they send it over to the tent/garage and fix it. This is a good thing for all of us unless they loose your car but I wont go into that.

The cars that got bumped back from D1 to D were probably bumped because they canceled the Sat overtime shift. They also have to catch up on all of the cars in the lot. There is just over 500 there waiting on there inspection's. They have shipped out several hundred so far. If your car was in D today it should be back in D1 on Monday and D1 will now be about 3-4 days until they start to build it.

Looks like about 8% of the 08's are going to be silver, thats about 512 challengers. In years to come will this make them more rare? The folks that want to stop there 08 to get an 09 need to think, the 08 going to be a better investment since it's limited production. In 5 t0 10 years the 08 are going to be worth more than 09's. Just something to think about.

well may be...but be warned autos are not all that desirable in a muscle car...what will kill the 08's is the 6.4L backed with a 6 speed in a vert/coupe package (let alone speshul colors)..the other factor is 09's i bet will start within a few days after production of 08's ceases and at the rate things are going some may still not have their 08..if you a gambling man unlike my self i hope you dont shoot craps
