I would like to know what vin that one is .I just checked and I am still in D status with a build date of early may is what they are saying if the really now anything .I gess it wont kill anyone waiting another week.

 

tupperware, I've seen other pictures with Challengers aboard but they were mules. Is this the real thing?

 

Would make me feel better if I could see the window sticker. Must be some person right outside the Brampton plant waiting for these loaded trailers to emerge. Good idea!

I believe that challenger on top of the hauler was Joani's. But i'm with you, wonder what her status is today. Tupper how long was it when you went to D1 status in relationship to your ship date? Just curious.

 

hello everyone ---my status changed from d 1 to d today and all the others at my dealer changed from c back to d this morning---
i talked to both the sales and service district mgrs today and they don't know why except if they are holding it up.....
the shipping date is still for tomorrow .....i will let you all know in the morning......i don't think the one on top of that truck is mine. i was told chrysler
sent 2 challengers out for testing with an insurance company--how true that is i don't know...lets cross our fingers that tomorrow is the big day...

That is some good news almost, it is still kind of crazy, but at the same time makes sense. I haven't heard anyone shouting with jubilee yet that they are out of D1. But I'm only in D so it only means more of a wait. Maybe Dodge is re-assessing their production sequence. Maybe, maybe who knows.
But has anyone heard of manufacturer sending a preproduction car to an insurance company. If so hope it is a six cylinder.

Anyone starting to wonder if a puter glitch is to blame for all the upgrades/down grades in status. The c to d upgrade was to assign vin's... that much I believe. Then as of Friday I was back to D status. I have seen 2 vids from people on break, or u tube showing they indeed have one. This is not a huge production and I would think that it would only be days, or a couple weeks at most to build all.
Hype folks... It's what Dodge is doing. How many calls a day do you think they get on status checks? With this low of production, how many of those do you think are about a Challenger? I bet we have more then our share of inquiries...

I would wager that all will be in D1, or being delivered by months end. Even with all the crap about delays.....
We would not see the hype about the 09's as much as we are if the 2008's were about to blemish the MSRP values?

How many times a day are you ask by friends, or co workers when you will see your car? 4 bucks a gallon and a 2100.00 tax and STILL we wait. It's on the cover of many mags, and gets more hype then Brittney!

D status and waiting..... Just think what my Kids, kid will get for this baby on eBay in 40 years!

 

it appears that I slipped back to D today as well...that would be consistent with my ship date of 4/29 as I understand that D1 to shipping should only take a couple of days....

 

I am sure its a real pic, just not sure where the cars are headed... those could be '09 mules on their way to test somewhere..now that all the cats are out of the bag there's no reason for Dodge to spend extra money to ship them concealed...
