Hey, thx Andre Brother, and all the Challenger gang. I really thought the idea of getting an 08 was out and was happy waiting for the 09. As the time went by through the Long Summer Challaholic Days, waifed on Testors, I have literally made it. Sure, not in the driveway or garage yet, but THE CAR, 2008 Bright Silver Metalic SRT8, #3238 is on its way. Thanks all for making the journey fun!!

 

and yes, we all know, hence I never veared away, that SILVER is fastest!! Somebody had to slow and take the fall for you oddballs who opted not to choose SILVER!!

 

Birddog is still around. Having way to much fun with my 08 to spend too much time on the computer. My wife keeps waiting for my first speeding ticket. Had to put a little rice burner in it's place Sunday. After I left him on the interstate at about 140, he caught up right before I was getting off my exit and even he had to give me a thumbs up. As everyone kept telling me, it was definitely worth the wait.

 

This threads long life just proves that there are still new 08s out there sitting on dealer lots....I wonder if it could have anything to do with how dealers jacked up the prices....(no need to answer that question as we all know the answer)
Perhaps with the way things are going for Chrysler....they should be more concerned with moving product, not trying to get over MSRP from customers, then watching the cars just sit there...............you think...
