I have got an orange 6 speed R/T. Hang in there; it is worth the wait I promise. I ordered mine 5/13 and she arrived 10/3. The whole month of September was agonizing waiting for the car. It is worth it thought.

Got an email back from Bob yesterday (last night for you guys in America). He found my car! He talked to the Challenger Brand Manager and made sure she got moving. It doesn't have the stripes on yet, but it isn't too far back in line now. In fact, jut a few mins ago I checked VinWin, and I actually have a FUTURE! This is the first change in my VinWin status in 18 days! Thanks to Bob for his time and effort! I don't know any dealer that would so willingly help out someone that isn't even his customer. He is the Real Deal!

I haven't seen or read many posts as to who is getting thier 2009 Challengers So I'm wondering No.1 what is going on with your second ordered Challenger and No.2 what is going on with like Flyingfitz's car and all the other 2009 hopefulls???? Com everyone keep this post going and I'm wishing and hoping to see that unofficial Challenger Registry fill up with in the "CAR IS HERE" column.

I ordered my 09 SRT 6 speed, Hemi Orange beauty on May13th. It was finallty delivered on Oct 7th. Great news right? WRONG!!! The car that came in was an auto! Not the 6 speed I ordered. Everything says it was supposed to be a 6 speed but sitting in it and wishing, no matter how hard, made it anything but the auto it was. I reordered a new SRT 6 speed on Sept 30th (when I found out my first SRT was coming with an auto) and started this whole insane crazy wait all over again. I have survived with the help of the great folks here and you will as well my friend. Be patient, enjoy the forum and join our circle of friends. |

Well Fatcat, I am still in the waiting line. I have had numerous dates missed, again this weekend it was supposed to be headed onto the railroad, but yet to no avail again. So I continue to remain in JB since 9/22. My SRT is out there somewhere.
