fatbastard: does your sxt have the esp on/off switch? does it work? If you turn it off can you make something that resembles a brakestand?

 

Does anyone know if this site: http://www.dodge.com/2008/challenger...ing/COTServlet has been updated yet to search for the 2009's? Curious to know if Dodge will have this site for 09's as they did for 08's.

 

I've tried it and it doesn't work for me.

 

I just received an email from Chrysler and went to "D" status with my VIN. The site wouldn't work for me either.

brucer41 I am pretty sure that site was only set up for the 2008 SRT's as i have tried it several times with no luck. I also think that like I saw several months ago with all the delays with the 2008's that we 2009 buyers are in that same several weeks of limbo with very little or no movement in our build status . What Dodge's rhyme or reason is for these build and shipping delays is beyond any common sense reason to me but I tend to think it may be in part due to the allotments our dealers have and how they use them. Its just a waiting game that totally SUCKS but like all the others I really want my R/T so wait we will. Good Luck , Fat Cat[sm=gears.gif]

 

Thanks Andre! They have been telling me for weeks that I am in D status and the build is imminent, but that is apparently not the case. Especially if you cannot see anything on VIN VISION with my supplied numbers... [:@]

 

Seems I heard that the folks at Dodge tried this thinking it was going to be a big help and relieve the customer service lines so they tried it out. I understand the results were more caos than it was worth and they will not be doing the same for the 09s. Anyone else hear differently?

 

fatcat, yep I know I watched our bro's go through the strife and grief hoping I wouldnt fall into the trap. But after seeing THE CAR and sitting in THE CAR I just can't help myself! I WANT MY CAR!

 

Patience Bro, you must be patient. Sure its killing me, and meeting up with Mopar2ya with his and hers and Rubberbndman (we know SILVER is the fastest) on Saturday night, that was even tougher. I will say, being in the company of Challaholics and THE CAR x 3 has perhaps given me real resiliency to wait it out, because it WILL BE WORTH IT.
