So what does it take to place an order for the 2009 Challenger RT? A deposit of $1000, do they do a credit check also, employment info?

 

Amount of deposit depends on the Dealer. I left a $500 deposit. Credit application is also required, but I'm not sure they run it until the car is at the dealership. Maybe someone else can clarify.

 

Deposit amount (if any) depends on the dealer. Make sure you get a price on the car before placing a down payment / order.
Dealers couldnt care less about a credit app. You could be getting the money from your GrandMother.

I put $500.00 down and no apps or credit check but I purchased several vehicles from them before.

 

I think it all depends on the dealer. Mine said no deposit was required, but I went ahead and put down $2,000. Interest at the bank is so low now that they might as well hold the two grand.

 

Just put in my order for a 2009 SE. And now the wait..

 

Called Dodge support line to check status. Still in C status. Been there now since end of June. Talked to the dealer on Saturday and they have no idea why there is no movement on my status in such a long time.

 

My car is still in C and has a build date of 8/12. This is date change number three for me, first it was 8/20, then 8/7.

 

Please tell us what mod you have in C status?? My STR8 is in BX/BG and has been since the end of June.
