LOL. Thanks FatCat and Andre. Actually, I've been in D1 status for a couple of weeks. Until now, though, there was nothing listed besides the "scheduled for build" date, which was Aug. 26. I guess this is "real" D1 status. Hence, I need real Testor's instead of Elmer's.

 

Congrats RoswellGrey! Mine is in I status, it was just built earlier this week and is awaiting final inspection! Yeehah! Please get it on the truck, train, whatever! I'm starting to get that GRIN!

 

I'll be calling Customer Service next Friday when this month's allocations are issued. I ordered my 2009 SRT on May 16 from one of the largest SRT dealers in the country (they sold 150 SRTs last year). My salesmen said that I am #3 in line. I hope to move to C next week. If not, I will NOT be happy! I live in the northeast and don't want a snow and ice delivery. [:@]

 

Maybe a little pre-grin smirk... but I can assure you it is nothing compared to the full on take delivery grin!!

My R/T is almost here fellas. 5-more days and she'll be here. Last I tracked she was near Alburqueqe, NM. I can feel her... [8D]

 

I just checked the tracking section of ENCS.com. My car now has a build date listed! She is scheduled to begin assembly on the 8th! And considering our status dates Brucer, your car should be right there with me.

Who thinks the Hemi Orange cars will see movement past D1 next week?

 

White cars are fastest. They will be out first....oh, my God! My hair is growing reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaal long!!!!!

 

What I really am hoping for is that I have the FIRST Challenger to roll into Downtown San Antonio, where I work. The FIRST Challenger to roll through Alamo Heights (an old-money suburb I have to go through every day on my way to work and where Priuses now are the "trendy" car). And the FIRST Challenger in Northeast San Antonio, where I live. I have noted before, and it still is true, that aside from a total of four 08 SRTs and one 09 SE I saw at dealerships, I have not seen ANY Challengers on the streets (and I am constantly looking). Also, with a 2009 model in 2008, I instantly become a Man From The Future. This is so totally cool. I did not get my 1970 Challenger till 1974, and by then, they were a dime a dozen.

 

Has anyone heard when the srt-8's will start getting built/delivered? Also, does anyone know how many srt-8's will be produced in 09? Thanx!
