What is the difference between "ghost white" and Stone White from Dodge? Has the car been repainted? Also, judging from the clips on your Facebook page, it appears the Challenger is an SE (which I'm glad to see). How come you selected that model instead of an R/T or an SRT? Or would the V-8 models have shot up too much of the film's budget?

By the way ... are you aware there's currently another movie in production called "The Last Ride"? According to imdb.com, it's about the last days of Hank Williams. Also, there have been at least four other movies (the earliest was in 1931) with that name. Maybe you want to rethink the title ...

Hey there...yes, titles are reused quite a bit in this business. Our former working title was "Challenger" and that too had a few listings in IMDB from over the years.
As for the Challenger, we actually had a Burg R/T ready to go. However after a few "test shots" it just wasn't working...then we got our hands on a White SE and it looked 1000x better on film. Also, the SE was loaned to us at no charge for 9 days. The R/T was going to run us $275/day + 75c per mile. As much as we drove in this film, it would of been a $500/day car.
The SE ended up being the perfect choice...and yes, it is "stone white"...our crew started calling it "ghost white" to add to the mystique of the story.
Cheers! MG -
