Default Challenger question (New to sight)

I am trying to figure out how to adjust the headlights on my 1973 Dodge Challenger. Got the car last fall and took it out to a family reunion last Saturday. We left around 11:30pm and I never had the car out at night before. Needless to say the headlights were very weak and tilted down so they only lit the read about 3 feet in front of me. I remember in the older cars if you loosen the top screw you could tighten the bottom and that would raise the light field upward. I can not find that on my car. Needless to say that was a scary ride home.

Need help with this issue.........Thanks

facing the car there should be a screw at the top and one on either left or right side of each headlight
they are spring loaded so when you crank them in our out they will stay put.

i usually park about 6 feet from the garage door and put a piece of masking tape 36" from the ground up
on each side and set the lowbeam headlights to that, then hit the highbeams and level those with the lowbeams.
depending on condition you may have to remove headlight rings and use PB blaster or some other rust remover
before attemtping so they dont snap.
