Default Did You Negotiate Your Challeneger Price?

Just curious, on the SRT8s, is anyone finding that they can negotiate price with the dealer or are these babies pretty much going to sticker? Thanks.

It depends on the dealer. There are still a lot of them out there trying to get more than sticker. My advice is to avoid these scumbags and try to find one at sticker or if you are VERY lucky below.

Local dealers wouldnt even talk price on the 08s back in December. Frankly, we in this forum know more about the car than most of the dealers. When the 08s were delivered to local dealers, they marked them up between $15K and $25K over sticker - including the dealer we bought my wifes Charger R/T from. Since they were "that way", Im being "that way" about the 09 SRT I wanted.
I ordered my 09 SRT from Bob Frederick of Frederick Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Boardman, Ohio. He asked for MSRP on the car and thats fair with me. Hes been a wealth of information from the beginning of the Challenger production run to anyone who asks him for it - both customers and non-customers alike. Hes sent me brochures and updates as they become available - without me requesting them.
If every dealer was as fair and conscienable as Bob, we wouldnt have the opinion of car dealers that most of them do nothing to dispell.

Hello all, new to the forum tonight. I just bought one today (in Canada) and I got it for a little above MSRP. I'm sure you already know there are only 500 08's made for Canada and only 55 in Ontario, my province. On autotrader.ca, dealers have them listed t $69,900.00 so I'm pretty pleased I got one for so much less. Dodge.ca MSRP is $50,170.00. BLACK ON BLACK BABY!

VERY EXCITED TO PICK IT UP WEDNESDAY!

What does "Market Value" mean? Somehow I doubt you mean MSRP.

Made the same offer to several dealers until I found one that wanted to sell. We had a very nice ride home from Boston MA to Chester VA

I had to play off three dealers against oneanother and even put Ebay into the mix to make my deal. I stuck to my guns and got them to bring it down to sticker. I think with the advertised milage, the gas prices up and the economy doing so bad with loans....not a lot of people looking can buy at the "Market Value" ($18,000 over in Houston TX) they are looking at. My Credit flat out rejected one deal from one of these dealers at $54.000 and they advised a counter offer of $45,000 on a sticker of $41,000 fully loaded. I actually got it below the Credit 's counter offer at another dealer and they jumped all over the financing with my down payment.

As a side note I took a trip in it the first week and netted 20 mpg on the highway. No mods to it yet and cruising with the cruise control on at 79 mph on a 550 mile round trip.
