yeah insurance will get ya good on a R/T but IMHO it is still a better value, wait for the spring colors get a plum crazy purple and watch the jealousy unfurl!!!

Thanks to the OP for asking this question...I was thinking along the same lines of buying one as a dd, and was leaning to the V6, because Canadian winters can be cruel...just ask my current dd Mazda MX-3....it sucks driving in the winter for sure. Anyways, thanks for the answers... I too am paying attention to this thread!!! This is a great question for prospective Challenger buyers!!!

I just recently orderd a R/T Classic in stone white. I got the 5 speed automatic. I live in a big city and I have to drive in lots of traffic. That is why I got the auto. I hope I didnt make a mistake. I only test drove an automatic an I loved it. Has any one drove both? And if so, which one did you like better. Also how did the shift tronic compare?
