That is okay, I like James Bond in general especially Sean Connery but I have friends that think it is unbelievable and hokey.

That just means that when I watch it at the movies I won't go with them but we will watch other movies instead.

I am also a fanatic about Spiderman because I grew up with it in elementary school and it was part of my childhood but others don't care for it
and that is okay.

We are all different and that is a good thing. Just think, if we were all the same this world would be boring.

dont hate me, but i hate it...i think that its stupid.

when i worked as an auditor, living in hotels for about a year and a half, the company made us share rooms..adults, sharing rooms...anyway, i had one roommate who loved the show, and i would watch it when he watched it, and it seemed so far fetched to me, i would go shower when it would come on, as i found it so dumb that it annoyed me..

but im sure that i watch alot of shows that others think are stupid.
To each their own. The most disturbing thought is a world where everyone agrees 100% of the time. "...If you ever disagree, that means that you are wrong..." Scary!

Jeremiah: I also like Sean Connery. When I hear his name being announced in a movie, I instantly think of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, since my brother and I watched that probably over 100 times when we were younger. I also think about Parody Jeopardy with Darrell Hammond playing Sean Connery. He was my favorite person they made parodies of on SNL in the late 90s.

Do you like the latest Spiderman movies? I wasn't much of a Spiderman fan, but I think those movies are excellent.

Really? Watch Casino Royale when it comes out on DVD. It's good. I don't recommend the Pierce Brosnan ones unless you really like Pierce Brosnan.

Yes, I feel the movies did a great job on Spiderman. What is funny, is how a forum was created to discuss the heated issue of genitic vs mechanical spider webs.

In the original, comics and cartoons of the '60s Spiderman was a science student that invented the web formula and the mechanical gadget on this wrist that sprayed it.

Everybody in the forum hated that the movie had it changed to his genetics being changed and his body producing the web and his wrist squirting it out.

If course in the '60s nobody could spell DNA and the moviemakers felt the a science student would not be capable to invent the spiderweb formula since it is nature's secret
so they felt the genetics would be the way to go.

Of course, older hardcore Spiderman fans hated that and was the heated debate before the movie came out.

For me, I have gotten used to it and it works for me.

I am looking forward to the May movie introduction with Sandman being the foe.

It isn't that odd to me, there are only a very few that I like. They have to seem as though they are decent human beings for me to like them. I have a list that is too long to post of the actors and actresses that I don't like.

Jeremiah:

LOL! I didn't know they actually made a forum over that, and people say I make a big deal about petty differences (such as there shouldn't be tire-on-pavement screeching sound effects when there is nothing but dust all around in a car movie). When I throw a complaint about a TV show or movie, it is normally that I'm confused on some logical problems in the plot where you're left without an explanation. I just hope I don't make the same mistakes in the stories that I'm writing.

I'm getting excited about it as well. I wasn't interested at first about the films but after I saw the first one at either a friend's house or the friend lent it to me, I got interested. I was more of a Batman fan. I like the Tim Burton based ones from 1989 and 1992, but I wasn't crazy about the later ones done by Joel Schumacher. He got rid of the darkness and made things too whacky and fruity. Though I liked the Batman Begins. I liked the reruns of the classic TV show with Adam West playing Batman.

Yes, the classic Batman with Adam West were the perfect show for that time because of what was going on in the world
and those guys got famous and the show was a hit.
