Yes and no. There is cheap stuff out there, that I am sure most college kids would get. And there is expensive stuff, which a college kid may get, but that is when you see the nice mod on a car with 3 tones because can't afford the paint job. [X(]

i saw a new edge mustang a few days ago, with a saleen body kit...and the rear fascia didnt fit right, and the side skirts were put on by drilling holes through them, and putting in pop rivets...

This exactly what I see in my territory is all of these add ons with poor craftsmanship. They are all like wannebees and never quite get there.
I have seen the good ones but they are an exception rather than the rule.

I don't think I have ever actually seen a good one yet. In my area they all look and sound trashy. At times I don't know what is louder, their engine (which sounds like it has been through H#!! and back) or the stereo (which sounds distorted and blarring).
