That is the thing about the Mustang, there is so much after market stuff out there, where one can mix and match and make it the way they want.

Hopefully the Challenger can get a good after market selection. But I don't see that happening right away. There will be a few things that will come out, but may be expensive as there won't be a lot of competition. If Dodge keeps the line going longer than a few year, then you will see the after market world increase.

Hmmm... Wasn't the "Twister" an option package on the old Duster first?

Twister was also an option on the Torino.

Indeed it was

I actually saw an original Twister Mustang at a car show about 10 years ago, I thought it was some aftermarket package, only to find out it was the real thing that was actually sanctified by Ford.

I think it's a good idea that Ford is doing this for the Mustang. Hopefully over time maybe it'll inspire Dodge to do the same for the Challenger. How about an all-white Vanishing Point edition? Perhaps a red convertible as a "Natural Born Killers" edition (OK, that's a bit of a stretch but you get the idea).

To much saturation burns people out though. Kind of like the Breast Cancer edition, good cause, but come on, and the Mustang cologne. After a while you get people who don't look at the car anymore because it just to saturated. There will be some versions that may turn heads, but for the most part I would think people would start saying, seen it, been there, just a different pair of clothes. I'm waiting for the rumble under the sheets edition. [sm=rolleyes.gif]

Well remember a few years back, Dodge was pulling out just about every single muscle car name in its history to put on (of all things) the Ram pickup (nothing against the Ram, especially since I own one). In 04-05, there was the "Rumble Bee"... then the Daytona, then the GTX... seemed like the only thing missing was a Road Runner edition lol. Now there are Daytona and Super Bee versions of the Charger, makes you wonder what Dodge might have in store for the Challenger. Again, I think an all-white Vanishing Point edition would be awesome. If Ford can make a Bullitt edition Mustang...
