Default Future Collectible?

While I intended to keep this car many years into the future as I bought this car sight unseen, I realize more than ever that I made the right choice. Well, my choice seems to be aligned here, never mind all of you out there too who are driving this amazing car:

You never really know... but with the response I see on the street and everywhere I drive I would say yeah. I thought it would die down some, but i still need to allow extra time when I stop so I can talk to those who want to look and ask questions about the car. I also thought I would start to see more Challengers but here in the Carolinas I see very few.

How true...wonder if Chevy owners will be able to say the same in the future when the flood of new Camaros hit the streets? I have seen more new Camaros in the short time they have been out than I have seen of the the Challengers. And the Challenger has been out over a year...On the bright side, I will never have to worry about losing my Dodge in a sea of Challengers! Let's see if Camaros owners will be able to say the same.....

I would say that those of us whom had early 2009 models (or any 2009 model) that was "pre-FIAT" should fall into a special collector category as well.

I dunno, Joe. I'd feel a little more secure if there WAS a sea of Challengers out there -- or at least as many as there was in the '70s. Thinking long-term, when replacement parts will eventually be needed, will they be available for the current Challengers?
