nothing...the daytona is for sale, but only because i dont have the room here, and im too lazy to tow it to PA.

the ramcharger has a freeze plug going south between the engine and transmission, so the tranny would have to come out to fix that, and thats not a fun driveway job. so the laser is intended to be the vehicle that will get around in the snow if and when the ramcharger dies, as the stratus is useless in the snow...

That would make a good vehicle for that purpose, plus it would be less expensive when it come for pump time, even if it needs premium, a turbo I4, sporty coupe is way more fuel efficient than a V8 powered SUV from the late 80s-earily 90s.

so, as many of you might remember, we bought this laser with the intentions of it being a beater...but as we found that it is a very rare model with its options. we also found someone willing to repaint the car and fix the few bad spots (as well as the problematic chrysler late 80s-early 90s paint)...so what was going to be a cheap beater has become another project, and yesterday it got back to my dads shop from the body shop...this isnt a great picture to show how much nicer it is now, but it looks pretty good to me..

it has gotten a new timing belt and pullies, new water pump, the balance shafts were removed, and the cat was gutted. it is my understanding that the balance shafts and catgut are considerable modifications, but i cant find a definate power gain. ive heard as much as 30bhp, but i dont know how true that is...the shafts are heavy...and the cat slows spool time. but for now, im going to enjoy it the way that it is with me having been sick, i dont have the time to modify things, so as long as it doesnt NEED work, it will stay a nice looking, almost stock car...[8D]

Looks nice for a rebadged. Oh what the hey, if you like it and it get you from point a to pint b without hitting points c-z then its a good car. Keep us posted if you decide to do more.

pardon the double post, but i finally got some pictures off of the camera...

(Thw wiper still wasnt on here, it was drying)

This shot gives a good look at the RR quarter...it was wrecked when we got it...

If you look closely, you can see the demon relaxing in the background, waiting for its new heart.

the hood was pretty bad with the typically 80s-90s Chrysler Leprocy..

One chillin' with the bimmer...

and how about some pictures of the aforementioned heart of the demon..

before paint, checking the fitment of the intake..good oiling up top..

with the first set of valve covers, to see how it looks (we probably will not use these ones..im not into chrome)

and with the valve covers that i plan to use...although they are in need of a good bead blasting..these will match the intake better..

and now with it all painted up, with some junk intake and valve covers mocked up..
[imagehttp://www.dodgeforum.com/upfiles/2745/asppg_Zk886496586.jpg][/IMG]

it will also get fitted up with a set of hooker super comp headers, and of course a balancer...

Had to kind of laugh at the pictures in that you blacked out the plates for these pictures, but the first pictures you didn't.

And what he means by rebadged is that it was a Mitsubishi Eclipse and also an Eagle Talon.

the plates that are blacked out are my plates..the ones that arent blacked out, arent valid tags...
