RE: Production vs Concept comparison pictures
ORIGINAL: 79powerwagon Why are we complaining about this car? If you want the MSRP to be another 10K maybe they can justify building a different assembly line to handle the changes, as is I'm happy with the way it looks, they chopped it down in order to use existing assembly lines, which cut down on the MSRP. Even with the minor changes they've made it still looks more like the concept than 90% of production cars compared with their concepts. So quit complaining and embrace the fact that this car will still live up to it's name, and isn't getting wimped out like the mustangs and the camaro |
RE: Production vs Concept comparison pictures
Active hood scopes would be a liability due rain, sleet, snow and lack of maintenance to the butterflies and linkages. Don't get me wrong, it was in the plus column on my ledger, and hope it still is. And I due agree with the comment about the mirrors, the spy pic's side mirrors do not look like they would belong to the challenger. They could use a serious makeover.

RE: Production vs Concept comparison pictures
I am hoping that all of this minor detail stuff we have been criticizing is because of bad picture angle and dirt and because it is a mule car without the final fixings.
Let's wait another 15 days and the proof is in the sublime pudding. :D:D |
RE: Production vs Concept comparison pictures
We have not heard from our friends at Chrysler in awhile by my reckoning. It would be cool if they could sneak a post in giving us some feedback on those pics as to their accuracy.
Pretty please????[sm=kissykissy.gif] |
RE: Production vs Concept comparison pictures
I think that Chrysler will keep mum on everything since it is only 14 days to the great unveiling at the Chicago Auto Show.
I have been very disappointed with Dodge's official blog, redletterdodge.com. It seems that this is a "one-way" blog- it only serves to provide Dodge with consumer opinions. It never answers questions. |
