Default IRS OR SOLID AXLE

What do you think the Challenger will have, IRS or a solid axle?? To help with the cost on the Challenger they'll probably go with the solid axle. Personaly, I'd rather have a solid axle for the strip anyways, as it will be much stronger than IRS.

Since I don't race on the strip having IRS is my preference.....just like the GT40, Porsche Carrera and Cayman, Corvette, etc..etc. for supreme road handling.

If I buy one, it will be a daily driver, so IRS.

Solid axle for me. More old school, less expensive and beefier for the 6.1.

Concept is independent and I think that will be the only axle offered since this is common to the LX platform. To do independent and solid axles would be cost prohibitive. Have heard that the independent is quite strong and it must be if they are putting it behind the 6.1 in the SRT lineup. Plus from what I've seen so far they hook real good!

I just like fast curves and great road handling characteristics on the road. I never plan to take it to strip......but I wouldn't mind seeing what I could do
in 0 -100MPH - 0 just for grins.

Dont' get me wrong, when I was younger I loved going from point A to point B as fast as possible.

That is the reason I did not want to build a muscle car but the then Challenger was reborn. Is is possible it could handle the road?

Well, I like a road handler and with the LX/LY platform I think I can get my cake and eat it too.
