I did exactly the same. My dealer was able to find exactly the SRT I wanted less than 50 miles away, got it for almost $5000 under list with the rebate plus 0% financing (EPP+). Others on the forum say their dealers are asking $5000 to $10000 over MSRP, how do the dealers justify that? There are 1600 Challengers sitting on dealer lots out there. I know they are selling well compared to the rest, but the Challenger won't save Chrysler or individual dealers by itself.

I bought earlier than I wanted to and I'll have to keep my baby in the garage for a few more months, but that is a small price to pay. Good luck to you guys and enjoy your new ride.

There are two sites you can go on to search dealer new car inventory. Cars.com and vehix.com, probably others as well. Remove the distance limitation from your location and you'll be able to see all of the Challengers in the country. While there may not be any on your dealers lot (or on mine either) there's plenty out there.

There you go. Enjoy.

I forgot to add that of the 1426 Challengers out there, 614 are SRT, 570 are RT, and 241 are SE give or take. So if they are trying to tell you that the SRT is a rare commodity as compared to the RT, it just isn't true. And that's why the plant is closing for a week.
