RE: Predator Tune
The whole exhaust change over...ie getting rid of the stock manifolds, cat's, and heavy stock exhaust netted most of the weight. Then I pulled all foil that sound deadening crap off the bottom of the car. That stuff might help with noise, but is a terrible way to trap dirt and moisture. That was about 15 lbs. Pulled multiple plastic crap off the underside and under the hood. another 20 lbs. I will be doing alot of maint sinse I will be using the car weekly and want easy access. The new rear tires weigh 10 lbs total less. Pulled the air pump and tray thing out.. 8 more lbs....and a few other items. I am not done yet...but when I am finished I will write up everything. Obviously this is not for everyone....but I am looking for free performance, while retaining a stock appearance.
