I am one of those guys that was beating down the dealerships door on 12/3. Von number was received 9:46 am, and I'm still in D status. It is unbelieveable as to whats going on. Don't have a clue as to how they are building them, but I definitely feel like the redheaded stepchild.

Geeeeee when I complain,you have mostly salespeople getting on my case lol.
As I have ordered a Stang Gt in the past the dealer said I would have the FIRST Stang Gt that they get in...
Well would you know it,the dealer got 2 stang Gts in(one was my exterior color but the interior was different}
When I called the dealership they said I should get the car soon....
And like the Dodge dealer 800#,,,I was still in IMBO when I called...................
I would say screw it,Its only a few months away till the 2009s are in stock......(wait till you see the car in stock,don't order one}
I am sure the dealer will have allocation 1 or 2 challengers in stock before you will ever see yours(if you are lucky}....
As I said in the past,you have many dodge dealers.
If each of them gets One Or Two,,,then there will be hardly any for the people that ordered one.....
Think about it,,,people think that they will get their cars before the dealer has his to sell from his stock????.....have a lovely nite.....JT

lol u sold a 08 for msrp plus 50k yea ok no one and i mean absolutely no one will pay 90k for an american car yet alone a dodge challenger that isnt even a luxury car ... its a muscle car... good performance for a good price. dont bring that garbage in here. jk but yea didnt happen

Tell that guy that paid $50k over invoice i have a 2001 Nissan Exterra with only 140,000 miles on it that i can let go for only $80,000. Yeah i only paid $15,000 for it new.... but it is hard to find the 2001's (most are in the junk yard by now)

hahaha msrp + 50k. Must be some obscenely rich old fart who's never heard of the internet. You can get one at a buy it now price on ebay for under 50k! For 90k you could get a new one and a matching '71.

thats clearly salesperson talk....they do it in the showrooms and on the forums too...... guarenteed ull see an 08 sitting on his lot just like u see those limited srt8 chargers in purple sitting at dealers since 06 with a sticker of 60k to see if any person is dumb enough to buy it... its all talk no show just like most dealers...

I was going to comment about that 50K over invoice nonsense too, but figured the poster had to have meant 5k, and mistakenly entered an extra zero.
Upon delivery, I would gladly sacrifice my black '08 for only 40k over msrp.
Any takers?

I heard. and am waiting to confirm. Hemi-Orange will be retired for R/Ts and SRTs after the '09 run. I am still waiting confirmation of this rumor.
