Why should they promote the Challenger when the demand is very high already and they don't intend to make a lot of them anyway?

 

I get the feeling we will see some commercials real soon about the Challenger. I would think as the car hits the Dealers Show Rooms. And they will build Challengers for as long as they sell. 2008 has a limited run but 2009... whose to say. They will build as many as they can produce as long as they sell. 2010, 2011? Supply and demand. They are in the business to sell cars and I think they will do all they can to achieve just that They have listened to the public and have split the difference with us. I will be buying a 2009 SRT-8 6-speed. Black more than likely. A Black Challenger is coooooooolllllllll... I'll have the ying and the yang

 

no need to advertise if the 08's are all sold already

 

On the jalopnik site, it was rumored that 45,000 Challengers will be built in 2009 (we previously heard 30,000)- 40,000 will be R/T and SXT models and 5,000 SRTs.

Short sighted thinking. Does Toyota quit advertising the Camry if sales are good, Honda, the Civic? Strike while the iron is hot and build momentum.

 

Plus it would be nice if the average dealer knew more than how to just spell the name of the car. Heaven forbid...

 

what?... 5000 srt's for 09?.. and 40,000 r\t's?.... and toyota sold 42,254 camrys in march of 2007 (yes that is one month). That is why they advertise i guess. [sm=insomnia.gif]
