the whole idea of stop is stop...3 seconds by law..did you miss that in drivers ed.???

Its called California Stop...$75.00 in most any state...
and better hope your buddies are there if you do it in front of my Challenger!

Yeah, someone's confusing Jersey Roll w/ California stop. Jersey Roll is rolling your nose end into lane of traffic at intersection to stop oncoming traffic to accomplish your right. California Stop, is a non-stop slow procession thorugh a stop sign.

I live in Jersey, I've done a few Jersey Rolls in my 16 years here.

Either of these maneuvers are frowned upon, however, in my home Commonwealth of Virginia!

when I feel like babying the car I'll leave a stop from 2nd in the auto stick, the car actually seems to like it better.

and yes it does shift back down to 1st if you come damn near to a complete stop.
So then leaving from a stop isnt really leaving from a stop??
I bet that gives you better times off the line too then... if youre not really stopped I mean... [8D]
