Default AutoStick lol.

I was driving with my g/f today and going about 30 I noticed that the engine was sounding different , i look at the digi and see a 1 and bout 5 seconds later i realized that i was in autostick , i went to the side of the road , tried to get out of it and just went to neutral to get back to normal.

I realize that my arm knocked it to the side I guess but why did my car sound like this and how am I supposed to use this I thought it can't mess up or cause any problems !!!!!

how can I prevent this from happening and how do i get out of autostick mode ?

If you push the stick to the right at any time and hold it over there for three or four seconds it will revert back to full auto mode. Any time you want to down shift just pull it toward the left. If you pull it into first while idleing and hit the throttle it will still shift into second around 6000-6200 rpm regardless if you manually shift or not... so no worries about blowing the motor from over reving or anything like that. Play with it... experiment a little. Have fun... just might add to your driving experience!

Also for us R/T guys, I believe the car will never go to four cylinder mode while in AutoStick.( As if we could tell anyway.)
