Go to Dodge.com and where it lists select a vehicle on the far left side click on , then scrool down to coming soon, there you will find Challenger, click again and it will take you there. It has several interesting articles or blogs pertaining to the car including a Q & A section. Trust me I know of what I speak. I own one of the first production 2005 Mustang GTs. Been thru all of this before. Forums and blogs all the same just different car. As a kid my father owned a dealership, from the age of 16 - 20, I at one time owned or drove just about every muscle car there was. My first car was a 1973 Dodge Challenger...340 4bbl...slapstick trannie...all that good stuff. Believe me I have talked to several major dealers (dodge) and there are lots of folks blowin smoke out there. I am in line with everyone else for a Challenger. The same bs was on the Mustang forums. People were saying they had one when they were not even out yet.

Interesting that "RLD" states "We can safely say that no R/Ts have been put up for sale yet. They are, as yet, unavailable for pre-sale in the 2008 model year...".

Shouldn't he have said "We can safely say that no R/Ts have been put up for sale yet. They will not be available until the 2009 model year." ?

 

no changes are being made to the concept car, it is the same as when it debut in detriot 2006

 

There have to be some changes.....the concept is not reproducible in it's current form.

 

thought he was saying we'd be making changes to the concept car, of course there are changes, we have 2 mule cars at the shop. been in paint, these we be the show cars, that we will take to the debut and to shows after.

True, although he implied that the R/T would be coming out in the '08 model year and all indications I have seen are that it will launch in the fall as an '09.

 

Not true. The S0s that have been in the spy pix clearly show significant changes from the concept. The front overhang is shorter, the tuck-in under the doors is reduced, there's a b-pillar, the greenhouse may be slightly taller, and the taillights and door handles are different -- and we don't know what else is hiding under the camo.

 

Also the front grill looks more like the 1970 car then the 1971 car.
