FYI - The new Nissan GTR is due to be released in the USA and Canada in 2008.
The new R35's engine will be called VQ33DET; it will be lot bigger from R34's RB26DET. The new engine will not be inline-6 but it will still keep the twin-turbo. The new engine will produce 380hp @ 7000rpm and 361 ft-lb @ 4500rpm. The new R35 might have the new so called "Electric Turbo" that spins the turbine electronically. It also comes with new 4WD system called "e-4WD" that will electronically control the motor as well.

therye not using the atessa system?
ive heard that the GTR will have a TT V8...but i dont know how much is actually confirmed, as opposed to what is assumed from the concept?

Cool, I haven't seen the pics like that. To bad they are not going o produce the GT anymore, BUT the rumour from my dealer was that they are going to replace it with a retro cobra. But I haven't tried to look to confirm this or seen anything on it.

i have seen a special on discovery (i think) about a new ac cobra...built by FMC...it was on the cover of a bunch of magazines a while back..when i lived in pa..

Supposedly the GR-1 was the replacement for the Ford GT which is a more comfortable luxury but believe it or not more HP. See below.
