Tranny Question

Mine does not do what you are describing. It does however lose speed quickly as soon as you let off the gas.

all is well Raj,

I love the decel on this transmission. To be clear, when you are slowing down you feel the transmission downshift and slow the car? Again all is well.

Yes when I take my foot off the gas pedal, I feel the car slow. As I slow, whether I use the brake or not, when the car in in full automatic mode, I also feel the car downshift through the gears and it feels as if I where downshifting a stick... each automatic downshift I see the RPM rise accordingly just as a stick shift would raise the rpm during a downshift.

So the forum consensus is that what I am experiencing is normal for this type of tranny?

Raj, if what you describe is really what is supposed to happen, that's really cool... the CAR is always in the right gear, ready to leap back into action!
