RE: WHAT DID YOU PAY FOR YOUR CHALLENGER
Wow!!! only about a 1,000 bucks for insurance a year?!? I guess not being 25 yet really does help huh? im paying almost 2,000 for my 03' Ram 4x4 Hemi. So all I've got to do is stay out of trouble for another year or so and I get my R/T and pay no more for insurance than im paying now?? Sounds too good to be true. Ohh and better gas mileage. Shoot I can't wait till you SRT guys get yours. Then the real bargining begins

I understand only wanting to pay $1K or less over MSRP, but you're late to the game. You may get lucky and get one for what you want to pay but I think the odds are against you. My opinion, if you want an 08, you're gonna have to pay more for it.
I could not agree more. I missed the boat with you early guys and had to pay dearly. I really wanted a Ford GT, but guess what? I couldn't afford it. While I am no fan of car dealers, I do recognize their absolute right to get what they can get. I never feel sorry for them when I buy work trucks for 8000.00 under MSRP. There are a lot more than 6400 people who would love this car. Figure it this way--Would you rather have an honest process where highest bidder gets the car or a polical mess where Dodge cronies get them first.
PS
If you buy this car and then decided you cannot afford it, you could still unload it for above MSRP----In my opinion
