RE: Help Please....
My family has purchased 10 Chrysler products all of which were real Chrysler products with the only non-Chrysler piece being a 3.0L Mitsubishi engine on two of them which we have paid more attention sense to make sure we do not repeat that mistake. We purchased 7 GM products and 4 out of 7 were junk. We purchased 5 Ford products. We have never owned any Japanese nor Korean cars. We only had one German car (a classic Volkswagen Beetle). We have done enough for you, it is your job to fix yourself and that begins with repairing the bridges you have burned by making junk models like the N-body models. It includes fund raising by selling off brands you have purchased. It includes a massive pay cut at all levels. It includes letting go of the large SUV market. It includes investing wisely in your product lines besides just Chevrolet and Cadillac.

RE: Help Please....
Uhhhhhh...I think I've helped the U.S. auto industry just recently by purchasing a new Challenger. Also, I've NEVER owned a foreign car. How much help do these guys want from me, anyway?

RE: Help Please....
I too have done my part to help the big 3 (Chrysler in particular) by buying a NEW Challenger R/T and I did my part 8 years ago by purchasing a NEW 2000 Dakota. These are the ONLY 2 NEW cars I have ever purchased, all others were used cars.
Here is a quote I found interesting tho.....

RUMOR - GM is considering a merger with Chrysler
Fact - GM officials routinely discuss issues of mutual interest with other automakers. As a policy, we don’t confirm or comment publicly on those types of private discussions, which in many cases do not lead anywhere.
We hope you will understand why we cannot comment on this specific rumor.

RE: Help Please....
Oh, I also remembered that since the mid 90s my parents have had a credit card with one of them that they have never had the opportunity to utilize because they didn't produce anything that was worth purchasing. Also we lost money on their stock. So don't cry to me about your financial problems Big 3, you did this to yourselves (okay in fairness to Chrysler, Mercedes did this to them).
