Talked to my dealer today and my MSRP is $38,060 which does not include the $1700 Gas Guzzler tax!

He did say that one of the 09's that was ordered in May (before me) already has a VIN!! He said he would call me when mine has a VIN!!

38,000 dang why not just buy a srt for that money.

 

Well the SRT went up $2000 for the 09 so it'd be 40 grand plus the 2100 gas guzzler tax. So another $4000 over what he's paying for a loaded R/T. And that's without the sunroof, mygig, and I'm assuming it cost an extra grand to get the manual on the srt too. Sacrifice some horsepower gain some nice options. I guess it comes down to what you want the car for.

SRT 8 starting at $45,995. Not getting raped as badly as I thought we might....however, I think this is the only car in the world that charges MORE for a manual....$2K more!!! and $1150 buys the upgraded stereo plus "White Face Instrument Cluster w/Tachometer". Isn't that standard?

no mention of Nav or sunroof. weird. prolly another 3K for that if it's available at all.

EDIT: sunroof is $1175 and Mygig + Nav is $1500

fully loaded 2009 SRT8 in Canada is $50,670 MSRP. ouch.

Note the gas guzzler tax went down to $1,700 (oh boy) since it supposedly gets 5% better fuel mileage (hear say??).
