Car is almost GAY...and the price??? WTF....

What about the price? A base WRX is around 24 grand. Seems like quite a good deal to me for the money. Not to mention it's more practical as a daily driver versus a RWD car - for those of us in the snow.

That said I agree that there is more to a car than just the power and performance for the dollar. The look of most 4cyl turbo imports just isn't something I get all that excited about. Ditto on the exhaust sounds. But you have to give them credit for their performance and the cost at this point.

 

It's just another IMPORT car. Cars, hell they are just transportation. I don't know about yours but CRUSH is an AUTOMOBILE.

Now can drop to import CRAP and get back to important stuff?

 

Oh for God's sake. You know, on just about any other forum out there you can talk about and compare any car you want to the one that site happens to be associated with. Yet here people throw a complete hissy fit if you don't just jizz all over their cars. What is wrong with some of you? Have I misunderstood the site rules? Is there something in there forbidding comparisons between the Challenger and other cars?

But I do think it would be comedy gold to see that little $24,000 japanese car keep up with your $42,000 "CRUSH" in a street race which it probably would.

And you might fool older guys on this board but your not goinna fool me .. the sti is 40k , any of the others are not competiting with the challenger speed wise you are NUTS and JELOUS of challenger owners.

I'm sorry for even talking about the STI , I was skimming through the thread and didn't understand the argument my appologies Paladin , I thought RipTide was pro-challenger , not pro-whatever isnt a challenger because he cant get a challenger.

You might want to work on your comprehension there sparky. The $24K WRX, NOT the STI, will keep up with a $42K Challenger 0-60. Read the car and driver link. Seriously read first before you open your mouth.
Jesus Christ only on THIS forum would you have to actually apologize for bringing up another car. You get fanboys just about anywhere else but here the ratio is closer to 50/50. Some posters here including many of the mods are quite reasonable. Wish I could say the same for the rest of the lot.
