The reason for the non-mopar colors

RE: The reason for the non-mopar colors
I like Justin's response to Bootcamp's post. I think he makes an excellent point that Challenger customers are not your average car buyer. Just like Walmart sells items in mass, but still manages to stock local items in individual stores to cater to that local area's interest (like University of Illinois apparel in their Champaign, IL store), I think Dodge can make special colors available to Challenger customers if they really want to. I agree with Lear4406 though that it may just be a matter of time. I think there is more to the technological hurdles too (than has been brought up in this discussion).

You Tube New Challenger
If anyone had thier heart set on a Panther Pink Challenger..they are going to be let down after seeing this...Looks like some type of high impact green and purple may be come out later as a special edition down the road.

Thanks for posting that.
Yep, looks like dodge will be milking anyone who wants sublime or plum crazy by making them buy a special package to get it. Loaded with extra options I'm sure.

Very cool post. Yeah, I'm guessin Panther Pink will be a DIY only. Unless things get really nuts, and they just start doing all sorts of different colors/packages.

Yep, it certainly looks like Dodge will be holding back on the Sublime-Plum Crazy-B-5 Blue as part of a Limited Edition TA package to be released after the intitial feeding frenzy subsides. It is strictly a marketing issue to keep interest and speculation alive after the intial wave of orders starts to level out. Cannot say I blame them, but it is fustrating, I will not order one until I know whats in the pipeline.

While I agreee that this was nice to hear and see, it also is agonizing having to wait just a minute longer for a beautiful sublime Challenger in my driveway, but given I have waited 2 plus years and the roughly 32 or so years prior to that, I guess it will well be worth it. Fellas, I'm chompin' on the bit in excitement!

great video... hope the guy holding the camera does not get fired... i just wish if they were going to offer cool accessories like hood pins, blue paint with racing stripes, plum crazy paint, and optional steering wheels .. that we could order them now even if we had to wait 6 months .... at least their would be a finite amount of time set.
