RE: Who has a 2008 Challenger on order?
Here's what I heard today, take it for what it is worth. The official production launch is tomorrow and that is when they will begin producing the first cars for the retail customer. Up to this point they have been producing seven cars per day, none for the retail customer.
I know some of you have said your cars are enroute but this refutes that claim. Hopefully some of you guys will get your cars tomorrow and this information will turn out to be totally wrong.

Well all of this continues to be interesting. Vipers, Corvettes, Sky,etc are very low, how do they get transported. This is a bunch of foolishness!

Here is what I think for what that is worth. We all placed orders for this car based the facts that we loved the style, we did not want a Stang, we love the Hemi, and we assumed that the company would function well. It is apparent that this new management has fired or lost enough good employees to cause this process to be a failure. Instead of doing the right think and tell us as paying customers why we do not have our cars or any real information, and say to us we will just move these order to 2009 models and open up the options for you to change your order they are hoping the problem will go away. I don't know about you but June is not spring where I live. To get an 08 in mid June sucks. We orders these cars in early December with a limitied color and options packages to simplify the process. As I said they should make our cars the first 2009's and give us more model, color and eqiupment options. The 08 process is a bust and nobody has the misters to admit it at Chrysler. This crowd knows even less about the American consumer than the Germans did.
